I watched your video immediately went and picked up Declaration Cartier EDT. What a joy!

The founder keeps stating it wasnt and to be fair people could just GCMS test the current and old formulation if they wanted to be analytical about it. All ill say is that compared to other chypres like sacred scarab or Salome it is a bit weaker

I have the Parfum from 2024 and got a decant of Extreme, but it didn't have the creamyness of the Parfum, which captured me. Does Edt possess that?

I had no idea that you’d reviewed this Pep- love this and 1740 from the brand. Agree on how nice it develops with the cardamom. I bought a newer bottle and thought I didn’t get as much of the citrus in the top but hopefully it just needs time to sit. Anyway regardless I love this one- great review as always Pep. Cumin, like animalic notes to me draw the line between scent and skin. I think it was Frederic Malle that said something about this about how some notes are just nice smells in the air but notes like this make the connection between our bodies and scent ❤ great video Pep

I just received the same little bottle of Maggie Noir, today in a mini sort of gift box that I ordered through Mercari. I dabbed it and really love it , but was not familiar with it . Hence I searched this video, only to hear the sad news. I love these earthy scents. I did enjoy hearing you discuss it though. Thanks.

Having now finished a bottle of the EDT, I am disappointed with the performance. The smell is perfect, but it disappears in under an hour.

I have stared a no buy year to save for a trip and because I need time to enjoy my current collection to refine my tastes.I may allow a small budget for sampling.I am grateful for advice from respected collectors like yourself and I am listening. Thank you. I have made some costly mistakes and I am learning from those experiences as well. I am off to Crete next spring and looking forward to perhaps making a purchase or two then.

I just received my sample- I ordered it online from the shop in Paris. It smells nice but nothing special. I think it's very linear. It doesn't grow or evolve. I smell tobacco with something smooth and sweet and slightly powdery.

This was it...th final finishing touch on my perfum collection. This would make number 27. No MORE ! PLEASE TO GOD NO MORE ! It is an unhealthy addiction and costly too. After I get my bottle I will inhale a gigantic sigh of relief and completion and finally FINALLY close the lid on this beautiful obsession ... Whew....it was a beautiful ride though...

I had a set of Magie Noire which also had a solid parfum.I had so many compliments while wearing it . A different Fragrance that has 9:28 been discontinued that I adore was KL parfum for women . I found a vintage one but am hesitant to buy the vintage fragrance fearing it will have a rancid , old , icky feeling essence . So I am asking is it not likely when using vintage ? I would not mind trying something similar . It’s has to have that hypnotic factor ;which I feel is missing in quite a few fragrances these days . This video was very helpful thank you kindly

Love that you mentioned Piper Nigrum Pep. I find it such a beautiful and unusual scent. I find the pepper in CDG black pepper to be too edible smelling for me but in PN it just really works and that fennel note is so strange but it just works ☺️
